Curtis Vandermolen has a J.D. from McGeorge School of Law. He has more than twenty years professional experience in policy and legal work with public and private organizations. As a lead policy and process consultant with the California State Assembly, Mr. Vandermolen was instrumental in providing advice and recommendations to elected officials. As Deputy Director at the California Transportation Commission, he was instrumental in leading the Commission's most forward-thinking policy projects. In his legal work, he has successfully worked to support the interests of indigenous communities throughout the nation.

Dr. Emma Blackthorne has a Ph.D. from Capella University, and two Master's Degrees from Rutgers University and the University of Wisconsin. As a professor of anthropology, Dr. Blackthorne has worked worldwide experiencing and solving mysteries of the human condition. She has extensive executive management experience, and has consulted for numerous state and federal agencies. She is an accomplished researcher and serves as the Senior Dean in charge of the Contra Costa Community College District's institutional effectiveness department.
